Tver branch of IDGC of Centre moved to a special mode of operation

Due to the deterioration of weather conditions, a special operating mode has been introduced at IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division from 03:00 pm. This means full mobilization of forces and means of power engineers. At the moment 8 overhead lines of 110 kV, 9 overhead lines of 10 kV, 8 transformer substations have been disconnected. Power outages were recorded in Penovsky, Toropetsy, Zapadnodvinsky, Staritsky, Zubtsovsky, Ostashkovsky, Penovsky and Kalininsky districts.

The cause of technological failures in the power grid complex of the Upper Volga Region was a strong wind of up to 23 m/s and the fallout of trees from beyond ROWs onto wires. Specialists of Tverenergo are promptly eliminateg the damage caused by the disaster. A crisis management centre has been set up at the branch to eliminate the effects of bad weather.
