A representative of Lipetskenergo gave professional assessment to projects presented at the All-Russian Contest for Modern Energy.
On the eve there was the final stage of the All-Russian competition of scientific and technological projects. There gifted senior pupils of the Lipetsk region presented their developments in agricultural and biotechnologies, in cognitive studies and energy systems. The expert council of the All-Russian competition included representatives of the largest companies and institutions of the Lipetsk region.
As an expert from Lipetskenergo in the direction of modern energy, the head of the electricity metering department Vadim Negrobov made a speech. He invited the participants of the contest to develop projects on the topic "Automatic management of energy consumption in the smart house system".
The young engineers shared their developments in lighting management depending on the time of year and day, the system of automatic voltage stabilization and energy management.
One of the bright projects from the contestants was the MOLproject, based on two specialized programs. The first is designed to transfer part of the technical equipment of the house to night mode, the second is to charge batteries during the night tariff with the subsequent use of energy in the daytime, when electricity is the most expensive. According to the schoolchildren, this system will provide energy saving in the residential building due to the profitable differentiation of the "day-night" tariff and will allow cutting expenses by 40%. In addition, the home personal assistant program will make necessary calculations and provide information on electricity consumption to the owner’s mobile phone. The principle of the system’s operation was demonstrated by the participants on the model of the "smart house" made by themselves.
"Such competitions not only provide an opportunity for high school students to declare themselves as young leaders with innovative thinking, but also help large companies in Lipetsk identify future high-class specialists," stressed Vadim Negrobov, the head of the electricity metering department of IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division.
