Hotline of power engineering specialists:
IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division on the site of the Kostroma Power Engineering College named after F.V. Chizhov, with the support of the Department of Education of the Kostroma region and the Centre "Gifted Schoolchildren", held the regional stage of the Olympiad of schoolchildren of PJSC "Rosseti". 62 schoolchildren from Kostroma and the Kostroma region took part in the event.
For two days the children performed assignments aimed at testing knowledge within the framework of general education programs in the subjects "physics", "mathematics", and "computer science". Leading teachers of the Kostroma State University - candidates of technical and physical and mathematical sciences, associate professors, professors assessed the level of knowledge of the participants.
The educational action of the Olympiad is aimed at identifying gifted high school students capable of innovative thinking and being ready to link their professional activities with the power industry and their involvement in the development of advanced infrastructure and technology projects relevant to the power grid complex in Russia.
Based on the results of the check, the contest commission will select 6 winners, who will pass to the second stage of the Olympiad.
