Pupils of Bryansk schools took part in the All-Russian Olympiad of schoolchildren of PJSC Rosseti

On 31 March and 1 April 2018, 47 senior pupils from general education institutions of the Bryansk region together with 250 pupils from the regions of the service area of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region took part in the first stage of the All-Russian Olympiad of schoolchildren of PJSC Rosseti. In the Bryansk region, the stage was held in the premises of Bryanskenergo.

The Olympiad is held in three disciplines: "Physics", "Mathematics" and "Computer Science". The regional jury and the appeal commission will evaluate works of schoolchildren at the first stage, which will include representatives of Bryanskenergo, Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution "Bryansk State Agrarian University", the Regional Department of Education and Science, the education department of the Bryansk city administration, with which the branch has been closely cooperating for many years. Based on its results, winners will be identified, who will take part in the second stage, during its course the schoolchildren will have to solve tasks aimed at identifying skills to apply the available knowledge in subjects while solving applied problems in the field of electric power industry. It will be held on April 21 in Moscow.

The electric grid companies of the group of companies "Rosseti" are holding the Olympiad for schoolchildren for the first time. Its goal is to identify and develop talented schoolchildren, who are capable of technical creativity and innovative thinking, planning their professional activities in the electric power industry, and involving them in developing advanced infrastructure and technology projects relevant to the power grid complex of the Russian Federation. It will be held annually.
