Last weekend in many regions of Russia there was a qualifying round of the All-Russian Olympiad of schoolchildren of Rosseti Group of Companies. In the Tambov region, the organizer was IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division and the Department of Education and Science of the Tambov region. The event was held at the Multi-Specialty Cadet Corps named after the Hero of the Soviet Union, USSR pilot-cosmonaut L.S. Demin. Tasks in physics, mathematics and computer science were solved by 157 people - pupils of grades 9-11. Their work was evaluated by a jury chaired by the head of the HR department of the branch Olga Vyazovova, which included pedagogical employees of specialized educational institutions in the city of Tambov.
Winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad in each region will be revealed after its second, final stage, which will be held on 21 April. The ceremony of awarding winners and prize-winners of the All-Russian Olympiad "Rosseti" will be held in Moscow, after which laureates will travel to Sochi to participate in the energy project shift conducted by PJSC "Rosset" together with one of the educational centres of the sea coast.
"Rosseti" is holding the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren for the first time. Its goal is to identify talented children, increase their motivation for further training in higher education programs of engineering orientation and involve in the development of technological projects actual for the power grid complex.
