Participants in Tambovenergo’s personnel reserve in 2017 ensured the replacement of more than half of vacant management positions

IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division does systematic work to form and develop its personnel reserve. Its goal is to efficiently and qualitatively train specialists for appointment to management positions at all levels of management.

Particular attention is paid to the qualitative selection and preparation of reservists. When enrolling in the reserve, recommendations from heads of structural subdivisions of the branch, the level of education, the length of service and results of production activities of candidates are taken into account.

At present, the staff reserve of Tambovenergo is formed for 310 management positions. Each employee is assigned a mentor from the experienced employees of the branch, who on the Corporate Portal forms together with the reservist his or her Individual Development Plan (IDP) and assists him or her in the development of the target position.

Within the framework of the IDR, the personnel reserve participants are trained in their areas of activity, receive a higher specialized education, improve their qualifications, enhance their professional knowledge, and participate in programs for the development of managerial competencies. It should be noted that the inclusion of individual development plans of reservists in the annual training plans for employees of IDGC of Centre’s branches is carried out in priority order. During the annual holidays of leaders, reservists must fulfill their duties.

As practice shows, the work on the formation of the personnel reserve motivates the personnel of Tambovenergo for professional development and helps fill the vacancies quickly and efficiently with promising and enterprising employees. If the target position of the head of the branch office becomes vacant, consideration of the reservist candidacy takes place in priority order, so in 2017, 19 out of 33 vacant management positions were filled with reservists. Tambovenergo intends to develop and improve the training program for personnel reserve and mentoring.
