28.03.2018

IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division pays special attention to issues of conformity of the quality of electricity transmitted to consumers to GOST. According to the approved schedule, specialists of the department of metrology and quality of electricity conduct monitoring of the quality of electricity with the use of special means of measuring electricity quality indicators. In 2017, 477 planned measurements were carried out at power centres (10 kV and 6 kV busbar sections) and 949 measurements at transformer substations (0.4 kV busbar section). During the same period, 2,252 units of measuring instruments were verified, including 307 electric energy meters. 46 measuring instruments were restored.

To determine the actual metrological characteristics of measuring instruments, the accredited measurement laboratory of the department performed calibration of 1,462 measuring instruments for electrical and magnetic values and 204 for thermal and physical quantities.

Within the framework of the metrological examination of technical documentation, 89 contracts for the provision of electric power transmission services, 34 technical assignments for the acquisition of measuring instruments were coordinated during the past year.

The branch works with the region’s consumers in terms of reliable provision of high-quality electricity, and monitors compliance with the established requirements for the parameters of the quality of electric energy. The quality management system developed by IDGC of Centre’s specialists helps prevent the receipt of complaints from consumers on the quality of electricity. Work on consumers’ complaints received by power engineers is carried out promptly. In 2017, the branch received 199 substantiated complaints about the quality of electricity, which is 6.5% less than in 2016.

Particular attention in the branch is paid to the implementation of technical measures aimed at improving the quality of electricity. In 2017, Smolenskenergo developed and successfully implemented measures for 522 facilities in Distribution Zones. The performed work allowed to increase the quality and reliability of power supply to consumers of the Smolensk energy system.
