In 2018 Belgorodenergo to spend about half a billion rubles on reconstruction of power lines in settlements of the Belgorod region

27.03.2018

IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division has started implementing the program for reconstruction of worn-out and end-of-life grids. In the current year, 191 km of 0.4-10 kV power lines are planned to be reconstructed in settlements of the region. 490 million rubles will be spent for these purposes.

The reconstruction will cover 31 settlements in 18 districts of the region. The maximum amount of work is planned in the town of Biryuch, the villages of Sharapovka in Valuisky district, Dmitrievka in Yakovlevsky district, Dolgoye in Gubkinsky district, Peschanoye in Ivnyansky district and in the settlement of Maisky in Belgorodsky district.

Power engineers will verify power supply circuits, increase the transmission capacity of power lines, install 46 new transformer substations with energy-efficient equipment. The lines passing through courtyards will be dismantled and taken to a safe distance. All grids will be installed using a highly reliable, self-supporting insulated wire.

The program of reconstruction of dilapidated and end-of-life grids has been operating in Belgorodenergo since 2000. During this time, the power engineers reconstructed over 5 thousand kilometres of power lines and installed about 800 transformer substations of 6-10 kV in more than 100 localities in the region. This allowed to reduce operating costs, improve the reliability of energy equipment and as a result - to provide a qualitatively new level of electricity supply to consumers in the Belgorod region.
