IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division has started the implementation of the approved investment program for 2018. In this period, the branch plans to put into operation 86.7 MVA of new capacity, to construct and reconstruct 561 km of 0.4-110 kV power lines. The financing of the program will be about 2.3 billion rubles (development without VAT).
The document provides for a comprehensive modernization of three large supply centres of 35-110 kV: "Konshino", "Rogovatoye" and "Promyshlennaya".
The 110 kV Substation "Promyshlennaya" is located in Stary Oskol. It provides electricity for a number of large category consumers, including the confectionery factory "Slavyanka", the dairy plant "Avida", a pumping station of the Oskol Water Authority. Reconstruction of the power facility will take place within two years. The project provides for a complete replacement of equipment, updating and expansion of relay protection, remote control and electricity metering systems.
The 35 kV Substation "Rogovatoye" is planned to modernize the equipment of 35 kV outdoor switchgear and complete the facility with microprocessor relay protection systems that will monitor the performance of the substation in real time, responding instantly to emergencies. Reconstruction will increase the reliability of power supply to about eight thousand consumers in Starooskolsky district, among which there is a facility of the first category of reliability - the "Oskolsky Bacon" pig complex.
The 35 kV Substation "Konshino" provides electricity to thirteen villages and farms of Gubkinsky district. As a result of the reconstruction, including the replacement of obsolete equipment for modern, uninterrupted and high-quality power supply to 1,356 consumers will be provided.
Over 190 km of power lines will be reconstructed in small and remote villages and farms. 322 km of new power lines will be constructed to connect to the power supply socially significant facilities, industrial and agricultural enterprises, as well as new buildings under the resettlement program from an emergency housing stock. Another 47 km of power lines will be constructed in the housing estates of individual housing construction under the program "Provision of affordable and comfortable housing and communal services for residents of the Belgorod region".
Timely implementation of the investment program will contribute to the reliable operation of the grid complex and will create the basis for the dynamic development of the region’s economy.
