Employees of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division continue to conduct electrical safety lessons for children and adolescents in general educational institutions of the Tambov region. The next lesson was held in the Novolyadinskaya school of Tambov district. More than 100 children became its participants.
The power engineers told the schoolchildren about the basic rules of electrical safety, the importance of warning signs installed on electrical equipment, demonstrated methods of providing first aid to the victim with electric shock. To consolidate this knowledge, the children were helped by thematic videos, as well as contests and quizzes. At the end of the lesson, the participants were given thematic brochures and posters.
Electrical safety lessons are one of the most important activities of the program to reduce risks of injuries to third parties at power facilities of IDGC of Centre. Until the end of March, Tambovenergo’s employees will hold three more thematic lessons in schools of the Tambov region.
