Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division held the first lesson in 2018 to take care of energy resources in the kindergarten, attended by 25 children of a preparatory group of kindergarten No. 55 "Mishutka" in the city of Smolensk. The lesson on energy saving was in the form of the game "House with the mind", during which the children were divided into teams and passed fascinating quest tasks. At the end of the game, all participants received a gift of colouring books with the rules on energy saving.
The administration of the kindergarten expressed gratitude to the management of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division for conducting a thematic lesson on the careful management of energy resources.
The project to foster a culture of energy saving in preschool educational institutions in the city of Smolensk began last year. Until the end of the year, training events on the careful handling of energy resources are planned to be held in several other kindergartens. "Our task is to tell simply about the complex, to teach the younger generation to take care of natural resources and rationally use electricity. The culture of energy saving must be formed from childhood," thinks Dmitry Serenkov, the head of the energy efficiency and energy efficiency office of Smolenskenergo.
