Specialists of Belgorodenergo - among winners of the All-Russian competition "Engineer of the Year-2017"

Employees of IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division were among the laureates and award winners of the XVIII All-Russian competition "Engineer of the Year-2017". Maxim Telyatnikov, a leading engineer for operation of electric grids of the industrial safety and production control department, was awarded the honorary title "Professional engineer of Russia". Alexander Patsev, a relay protection and automation engineer, won the qualifying round according to the "Engineering of the Young" version (for young specialists up to the age of 30, inclusive).

Maxim Telyatnikov has been working at Belgorodenergo for 14 years. In his service area there are activities to reduce failure rates and investigate emergencies, monitor compliance with the requirements of industrial and fire safety in the branch. Maxim took part in the development of more than 30 provisions and regulations that allow to quickly collect information on the status of equipment, and when investigating emergency outages, more precisely classify their causes. In addition, he made a significant contribution to the implementation of the project on the transition to automated monitoring of the state of reliability, investigation and consideration of emergencies, and the formation of a single regulatory and technical base for operation, labour protection, industrial, fire and environmental safety.

Alexander Patsev for seven years of work at Belgorodenergo took part in a number of major projects on the construction and modernization of energy facilities, including the reconstruction of one of the most modern and technological power centres in the region - the substation "Malinovka". He is the developer of a number of projects for the modernization of relay protection and remote control of 35-110 kV substations.

The All-Russian competition "Engineer of the Year" has been held since 2000 with the aim of attracting public attention to the profession of an engineer and raising its status. Its founders, in particular, are the Russian Union of Scientific and Engineering Public Organizations, the International Union of Scientific and Engineering Public Associations, the Academy of Engineering Sciences named after А.М. Prokhorov, the Interregional Public Fund for Promoting Scientific and Technical Progress. Employees of Belgorodenergo repeatedly took part in the competition and became its winners.
