Kurskenergo summed up the production activity in 2017

IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division held an extended production meeting, dedicated to summing up the results of 2017 and planning activities for the current year. The event was attended by chiefs of Distribution Zones, deputy directors of the branch, heads of departments. The meeting was led by the head of Kurskenergo Alexander Rudnevsky.

The power engineers discussed the results of last year’s performance of production programs for equipment repairs and maintenance, reduction of losses, implementation of grid connection agreements and the results of work with customers’ requests.

As it was noted during the meeting, all planned production activities in the reporting period in Kurskenergo were fully implemented. The productive supply of electricity to consumers exceeded 4,249 million kWh, while the loss of electricity decreased by 455 million kWh, which is 29 million kWh lower than the same period in 2016.

Comprehensive overhauls were carried out at 23 substations of 35-110 kV and 406 transformer substations and distribution points. 2,606 km of overhead and cable power lines of 0.4-110 kV were repaired. The implementation of production programs in the planned volume ensures the successful passage of the autumn-winter period of 2017-2018.

In 2017, specialists of the unit for interaction with customers of Kurskenergo received 37,264 requests from residents of the Kursk region, which is 39% more than in the previous reporting period. 2,626 calls related to grid connection services. A total of 2,309 grid connection contracts were concluded. 2,135 of them were fulfilled, for the remaining the energy company will fulfill its obligations in the legislatively established terms. The total capacity of customers’ power installations was 42.3 MW.

The work of Kurskenergo’s specialists was assessed by residents of the region in their responses. During the reporting period, Kurskenergo received 3,899 positive responses from the residents of the Kursk region. Power engineers received gratitude for the quality and timely provision of services.

The meeting participants spent a lot of time discussing the implementation of the priority tasks for Kurskenergo in 2018. Among them there is preparation for the passage of the autumn-winter maximum load of 2018-2019, the implementation of investment and repair programs. Among the priorities of the branch in the current year there is also the fight against theft of electricity and the improvement of feedback from customers.

In addition, at the meeting, the rating of the districts of the electric networks of Kurskenergo was announced. Oboyansky Distribution Zone was recognized as the best in the branch by results of production and financial and economic activities in 2017, Glushkovsky Distribution Zone is in the second place and Fatezhsky Distribution Zone took the third.

Summing up the meeting, Director of Kurskenergo Alexander Rudnevsky thanked his colleagues for the good work, which resulted in an increase in the reliability of the power supply to consumers, the responsiveness to emergency situations at power facilities of the branch.
