Authorities of municipalities of the Smolensk region thanked power engineers for their professionalism

The administrations of the municipalities of Vyazemsky, Gagarinsky and Ugransky districts of the Smolensk region thanked Sabir Agamaliev, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division director, and the whole team for professionalism and impeccable work during the liquidation of consequences of the snowfall.

Please, be reminded that heavy snow and gusty wind that passed through the territory of the region on the night of 4 February caused power outages in a number of districts of the region. The eastern districts (Vyazemsky, Gagarinsky, Ugransky, Temkinsky) suffered most severely. The energy company reacted to the situation promptly and smoothly. In total, 78 crews of the branch and 96 vehicles were involved in restoration works. Despite the difficult weather conditions, the power engineers worked around the clock and restored the power supply to the residents of the Smolensk region in a short time.

The head of the municipal formation "Ugransky district" Natalia Shishigina noted that the power engineers "combined the experience and skills of real professionals" and carried out prompt activities to organize work in difficult weather conditions.
