Over 1,600 employees of Kurskenergo were trained in 2017

IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division summed up the results of the training of personnel in 2017.

In the indicated period, 1,624 employees received the opportunity to increase the level of professional training, including 1,130 workers, 133 specialists and 361 employees holding a managerial position. 266 employees passed professional development courses, 310 people got a second or related profession.

To train its employees, Kurskenergo concluded agreements with a number of specialized educational institutions of additional professional education. In particular, the power engineers have the opportunity to undergo training at the St. Petersburg Power Engineering Institute, the Educational and Methodological Centre "Linvit", and the "Teaching and Methodical Office" of Rostekhnadzor. The training was organized directly in the enterprise.

"We pay serious attention to the professional training of all categories of employees. The development of new equipment and technologies that are being implemented at the enterprise requires new knowledge. Ultimately, the uninterrupted power supply of consumers depends on the continuous improvement of our employees’ skills," stressed Lyudmila Mokrousova, the head of the HR department at Kurskenergo.
