Installation and replacement of electricity meters in 2017 was the most popular value-added service of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division among residents of the Smolensk region. In total, more than 13,000 requests were submitted to the branch for this service, and 11,200 contracts were concluded. The volume of revenue from the provision of the value-added service for the installation and replacement of metering devices increased by 38% and amounted to 21.4 million rubles.
Smolenskenergo pays special attention to improving the quality of customer service and constantly examines customer feedback on the work done. In 2017, the branch received 3,450 positive comments on the value-added services provided, 85.6% of which (2,954) on the performance of work on the replacement and installation of electricity meters.
IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division reminds that by law, before replacing the electricity meter with the help of other organizations, it is necessary to notify Smolenskenergo on the planned actions (according to Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 442 of 04.05.2012 "On the functioning of retail electricity markets"), otherwise unauthorized actions with the meter in accordance with Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 354 of 06.05.2011 "On the provision of public services to owners and users of premises in multi-unit buildings and dwelling houses will be classified as an unauthorized intervention in the operation of the meter and the recalculation of the consumed electricity will be made."
