IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division together with the Primary Trade Union Organization held competitions in corporate ski races in the village of Chupriyanovka of the Tver region. The traditional open championship of the branch was attended by more than 50 athletes from production bases and the executive office of Tverenergo in the composition of seven teams, as well as supporters who came to shout for their colleagues. In total, more than 120 employees of Tverenergo took part in an exciting sports event.
Sports competitions united the employees of the power system not only at distances in the fight for the championship titles, but also in the general corporate holiday of sports, a healthy lifestyle and a good mood.
According to the results of the competitions, the best in the team championship became athletes of the executive office. The team of Torzhoksky Production Base became silver medalists. The honorable third place went to athletes from Vyshnevolotsky Production Base.
"I always take part in sports events of Tverenergo with pleasure. In the winter it is a traditional ski track of power engineers, and in the summer - the Sports Games. Sports competitions strengthen the body and spirit, and corporate competitions also improve relations in the team, which is very important. I am happy to be part of the friendly team of Tverenergo," shared Elizaveta Kostrova, a specialist of the Customer Service Centre of Kalininsky Distribution Zone. The girl won a personal victory at a distance of three kilometres among women under 35 years old. And most recently Elizaveta returned from the ski race of PJSC Rosseti, where she became a bronze medalist.
Among men under 35 in the race for 5 km the best result was shown by Vitaly Timofeev (Vyshnevolotsky Production Base). In the category older than 35 years, the first to finish the line was Yury Vidineev (executive office of Tverenergo).
In the most spectacular type of the ski races - the relay race - the team members of the executive office of Tverenergo were the first to cross the finish line. The second place was taken by Torzhok sportsmen, skiers of Vyshnevolotsky Production Base were the third.
Veterans of the Tver energy system participated in the ski race: a married couple - Nikolay Kruchinin, who worked as an operator of the operational and technological group of Kashinsky Distribution Zone, and his wife Larissa, who also devoted her life to energy. As a result of the competition, the winners, as well as the veterans of the power grid complex, were awarded incentive prizes and diplomas. An entertainment program and active outdoor games were organized for numerous fans.
"As practice shows, sports spirit exists beyond age and time. Any participant - a student or an honoured worker, professional or amateur - will be a welcome guest at this sport festival. The sports events of the branch are a good tradition of corporate unity of the Tver power engineers, a possibility of communication of employees and their families in an informal atmosphere," stressed Sergey Aksakov, Chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization of Tverenergo.
