Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division plan to conduct 110 lessons in electrical safety in schools, boarding schools, summer recreation camps and kindergartens of the Smolensk region during 2018. At events power engineers tell children about the rules of behaviour near power facilities, they are introduced to signs warning of danger. At the end of lessons, the power engineers give colourful thematic posters for decoration of stands to teachers. The specialists of the branch are ready to conduct electrical safety lessons in educational institutions and children’s recreation camps of the Smolensk region outside the plan. To organize a lesson, it is enough to contact the public relations department of the branch by phone 8 (4812) 42-95-62. The lessons are free and only on weekdays.
"Prevention of electric injuries of third parties is one of the priorities of Smolenskenergo. Work in this area has been carried out by the power engineers for many years, with special attention paid to training the younger generation. Our main task is to remind about the danger of electric current and the importance of observing the rules of behaviour near energy facilities," commented First Deputy Director - Chief Engineer of the branch Vitaly Mordykin.
