The primary trade union organization of IDGC of Centre - Orelenergo division summed up the results of the past year. All activities planned for this period aimed at supporting the social and labour rights of members of the organization, the development of social partnership, the organization of sports and cultural and leisure events were fully implemented.
One of the priorities of the trade union is the care of health of Orelenergo’s employees and their children. Last year, thanks to the support of the organization, the employees of the enterprise had an opportunity to rest on shores of the Azov and Black Seas and in sanatoriums of the Republic of Belarus, and their children were in health country camps of "Yelochka", "Veterok" and "Orlovchanka". At the beginning of the school year, children of Orelenergo’s employees, who went to the first grade, received memorable gifts from the trade union.
Last year the union also organized weekend tours. Orelenergo’s employees and their family members visited the Museum of Cosmonautics History in Kaluga, the Moscow Zoo, the aquarium and the Goto Predestination Museum ship in Voronezh. In addition, they attended theatrical performances. In cooperation with the leadership of the branch, the trade union committee actively participated in the preparation and conduct of sports events: summer and winter sports days, volleyball, mini-football, and ice fishing competitions. And it also provided employees with the opportunity to visit swimming pools, engage in mini-football, volleyball, track and field, skating. The organization also made significant contribution to one of the brightest sports events of IDGC of Centre of the past year: the hockey tournament dedicated to the 74th anniversary of the victory in the battle at the Orel-Kursk Bulge.
At the end of the year, all members of Orelenergo’s trade union organization received gifts for the Power Engineers’ Day, and their children - for the New Year. The union does not forget veterans: the organization, together with the Council of Veterans and the leadership of Orelenergo congratulated them on their anniversary, on Victory Day and on the Power Engineers’ Day. On the Day of the Elderly, the employees of the enterprise, who are retired, visited the Root Hermitage monastery.
"The main task of the primary trade union organization is to protect the rights and interests of Orelenergo’s employees, improve their working conditions, and organize corporate leisure. A high percentage of membership of workers of the branch in the trade union speaks about its high efficiency, credibility and relevance," stresses the chairman of the primary trade union organization of Orelenergo Evgeniya Shamrina.
