In 2017, IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division spent 57.7 million rubles to implement measures aimed at reducing risks of occupational injuries, meeting the requirements of regulatory and legal acts on labour protection, improving the sanitary and living conditions of personnel. The invested funds made it possible to provide a sufficient number of personnel with modern means of protection, tools and devices to ensure safe production.
Measures to prevent occupational diseases and improve the working conditions of personnel are important in the field of occupational safety. So, in 2017 at 408 workplaces in the branch a special assessment of working conditions was carried out in accordance with the current legislation. The working conditions of the employees of the branch are estimated, measures are developed to improve the conditions in the workplace, where harmful production factors are identified.
Another important area of work is the training of employees in safe working methods, increasing knowledge in the field of occupational safety and health. First of all, the knowledge of the rules on labour protection in the operation of electrical installations, the rules of technical operation and the fire safety rules at electric grid facilities of Rosseti are checked, and the skills of providing first aid to victims in case of accidents are also tested. For the year in the central commission of the branch according to the schedule, 622 managers and specialists of the branch passed the knowledge check, and more than 2,810 employees in commissions of subdivisions.
