IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division continues work on clearing and expanding ROWs of overhead power lines. In the current year, on an area of 592.51 hectares, the energy company will clear ROWs from tree and shrub vegetation and expand 160 hectares of ROWs.
In this issue, the branch conducts systematic work with municipal entities of the Lipetsk region. So, for example, in Gryazinsky district, an interaction with the head of the district was organized in the context of joint work on the maintenance of security zones on 0.4 kV power lines. Such an agreement was reached with the Lebedyansky and Volovsky administrations.
"Power engineers can speed up the work schedule and increase labour productivity not only with the use of modern tools and specialized vehicles, but also with the responsible position of heads of municipalities, each of them is interested in providing uninterrupted power supply to residents of their district," stresses Chief Engineer of the branch Vladimir Tikhonov.
"Lipetskenergo" performs work on clearing ROWs in various ways. The most effective method is mechanized clearing - with tractors. At the same time, Lipetskenergo's power engineers comply with all necessary fire-fighting measures, and staff is fully provided with personal protective equipment and devices.
The fulfillment of the production programs of the branch is aimed at ensuring the reliability of the electric grid complex in the region and failure-free operation through the autumn-winter period.
