Tambovenergo provided power supply for a new church

17.01.2018

Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division provided power supply for a new building of the church in honour of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God in the village of Rysli in Morshansky district of the Tambov region.

The new temple was built on the main square of the village, on the site where formerly its old building was erected at the end of the XIX century and destroyed by a fire in the Soviet era. To connect it to the power grid, a 0.4 kV overhead line was constructed that connected the church with a package transformer substation. The work was carried out promptly, during December 2017, thanks to which, on 7 January, the Christmas Day, the first services were held in the temple.

Tambovenergo makes a feasible contribution to the revival of spirituality in the region. So, in 2013, the power engineers provided lighting of the new Mikhailo-Arkhangelsk temple in the village of Satinka in Sampursky district. To implement this project, the company’s specialists connected the facility to the grid, which allowed to provide electricity to the church and the parish house included in the temple complex.
