Tverenergo’s team performed at the full-time stage of the All-Russian competition "New Idea"

Young scientists of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division took part in the All-Russian competition "New Idea" for the best scientific and technical development among the youth of enterprises and organizations of the fuel and energy complex.

The team of power engineers presented the work "Reduction of technical losses of substations", the essence of which is in the conversion of thermal energy into electricity. The results of the contest will be announced next spring. "Participation in such events is very important, because it is a new experience and an opportunity to contribute to the development of the domestic energy system," Ilya Kozlov, a member of Tverenergo’s team, an engineer of the substation section service at the Tver production base, shared his impressions. "My colleagues and I are sure that the presentation of our project at the competition is the first step towards its implementation."

The young scientists from Tverenergo were already nominees of the All-Russian competition "New Idea" in 2016, prize-winners of the All-Russian SWSU Case Championship and entered the top 10 of the international engineering championship Case-in, and more recently the Tver power engineers became prize-winners of the engineering case-championship in the framework of the II International Youth Congress "Energy Security".
