The first Safety Day was held at IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division this year.
Heads of specialized services of the executive office and specialists of the technical unit summed up the results of fulfillment by production departments of measures to eliminate the shortcomings revealed during the previous Safety Day, checked quality of the targeted instruction in issuing the work permit, provision of the staff with protective clothing, protective equipment, necessary materials for safe operation. Issues of implementation of measures to reduce technical losses of electric power were also worked out. An additional briefing was given to drivers on safety measures during road traffic in winter, on conditions of operation of vehicles, and technical condition and completeness of vehicles were checked.
In addition, within the Safety Day the employees of the branch were trained in methods of releasing the victim from electric shock and providing first aid in case of accidents.
As a result of the Safety Day, a list of measures to eliminate the identified violations was developed. Verification of their implementation will be carried out in preparation for the next Safety Day, which will be held next month.
Safety days are held in all branches of IDGC of Centre every month to prevent occupational injuries and increase the production culture at power facilities.
