A solemn meeting dedicated to the Power Engineers’ Day was held at IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division. Heads of the Company and executive bodies of the Lipetsk region congratulated power engineers on the professional holiday.
Opening the grand meeting, Acting Deputy Director General of IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division director Sergey Koval congratulated participants on the holiday, noting that the year of 2017 was not simple, but fruitful.
"The Power Engineers’ Day is not just a holiday, it is a kind of starting point. On this day we sum up the production activity, pay tribute to those who created the grid complex of the region, we honour the best employees of the company, who continue to preserve the glorious production traditions of the Lipetsk power engineers," he stressed.
In 2017, Lipetskenergo successfully fulfilled all the tasks set for the implementation of the main production programs, qualitatively prepared for the autumn-winter period. The power engineers carried out a large-scale work to develop the power grid complex and increase the reliability of electricity supply to consumers in the Lipetsk region.
This year our investment program was socially oriented. First of all, we worked on improving the quality of services provided to residents of the Lipetsk region, on the reliability of energy supply and timely grid connection of all consumer groups, to ensure the stable operation of the energy complex of the region.
For 12 months of 2017, more than 1.5 billion rubles were spent on the development of the power grid of IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division, thanks to which 341 kilometres of power lines and 76 MVA of capacities were commissioned.
In 18 districts of the region 115 transformer substations were constructed and 67 ones were reconstructed. The obligation to commission facilities for grid connection of all consumer groups in the amount of more than 495 million rubles (and this is 2,500 residents of the region and almost 550 small, medium and large business entities) was completely fulfilled.
Based on the results of work in 2017, more than 100 employees of Lipetskenergo were given industry and regional awards, honorary titles and letters of thanks. The names and portraits of the 15 best employees of the company are put on the Company’s Honour Boards.

This shows the high professionalism of the personnel of the enterprise, and also serves as the main confirmation of the effectiveness of our work to improve the level of qualifications and professionalism of the employees. And I want to wish that the upcoming 2018 year will be for power engineers and for all our consumers a year of peace and harmony, the year of implementation of plans. Health, prosperity and joy to you and your loved ones! - the head of the HR department of Lipetskenergo Ekaterina Mushnikova congratulated colleagues and residents of the Lipetsk region.
Young specialists, recruited in Lipetskenergo in 2017, were also paid attention to. For them, a solemn ritual of initiation in the power industry was organized, during which they gave a solemn oath to observe the traditions of the enterprise.
The festive event ended with a concert program prepared by Lipetskenergo’s employees for the power engineers and their guests.
