21.12.2017

The next lesson on prevention of electric injuries was conducted by employees of IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division for first graders of Lyceum No. 9 in the city of Belgorod. On the eve of the winter holidays similar classes will be held in a number of educational institutions of the region. In total, in 2017 about 400 preventive measures were organized by forces of power engineers.

According to statistics, the number of injuries among children and adolescents increases during holidays. The main reasons for tragic events are pampering and elementary ignorance of rules of electrical safety. Adults are obliged to tell children in time how to protect themselves from accidents, where it is dangerous for life to play, what to do, if you are in a dangerous zone of "step voltage", why you should not be near power lines and substations and where to call, if wires are broken, a substation door is open, or someone urgently needs help.

The useful lesson finished with a relay, and the "ABC of electrical safety" will help consolidate the knowledge schoolchildren will get - a colourful edition with pictures, colouring books and verses about what everyone should know.
