The team of IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division once again won the gold of the team championship in billiards among energy companies of the Voronezh region, dedicated to the Power Engineers’ Day. Honour of the enterprise at the competitions, organized by the Voronezh regional organization "All-Russia Electroprofsoyuz", was defended by a leading expert in property management Yury Poznakhirin and a driver Alexander Voropayev.
This year, the tournament was held for the first time not in the Olympic (playoff), but in the Swiss system, when losing teams in intermediate stages still have the opportunity to continue fighting for prizes. During the championship representatives of Voronezhenergo took part in 5 games and won in all. A duel with the team of PJSC "TNS energo Voronezh" was decisive, in which they won with a score of 2:0. As a result, the billiard players of TNS energo Voronezh took the second place. The third went to representatives of PJSC "Quadra - Power Generation".
The billiard championship among the power companies of the Voronezh region was held for the 15th time. The team of Voronezhenergo won 13 times in it.
"The mastery of the championship participants grows every year, the rivals have become noticeably stronger, so the fight for the cup this time was tightly-contested. And although we were initially considered favorites, we had to make every effort to win!" stressed the captain of Voronezhenergo’s team Yury Poznakhirin.
