IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division, within the framework of vocational guidance work, continues to hold Open Doors Days for students of higher and secondary special educational institutions. The next such event was organized for third-year students of the Tambov branch of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA), studying in the specialty "Economics and Finance".
The initiator of the visit of the students of the Academy in Tambovenergo was Vice-Governor of the Tambov region Igor Kulakov, who oversees issues of fuel and energy complex and housing and communal services in the region. Opening the event, he stressed that Tambovenergo is one of the leading enterprises in the region, therefore it is useful for future economists to get acquainted with its work, learn about the contribution of power engineers to the social and economic development of the Tambov region.
Then the tour began. The power engineers acquainted the future economists with the history and professional traditions of Tambovenergo, demonstrated to them the work of the Grid Control Centre, told about modern technologies used in the industry.
At the end of the tour, the students and teachers of the RANEPA branch thanked its organizers.
"The meeting turned out to be interesting and useful. Such events help young people learn the history of the energy industry, better navigate in its modern realities. This allows them already in the process of learning to master the subtleties of the chosen profession, learn more about the company, with which, it is not impossible, their entire future will be linked," stressed Deputy Director of the Tambov branch of the RANEPA, Ph.D. in Economics, Nina Logvin.
Until the end of the year, within the framework of the Open Doors Days, Tambovenergo’s specialists plan to conduct for students of the region some more tours to facilities of the branch.
