Sergey Demidov, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division director, was awarded the EMERCOM of Russia medal "For Cooperation for the Sake of Rescue" for the competently and efficiently constructed work of the power supply service of the region’s civil defense and the great contribution to strengthening cooperation.
The activities of the branch in the field of civil defense and liquidation of emergencies following the results of 2017 have been marked by a certificate of honour of the Security Council of the Belgorod region and the rolling cup.
The Secretary of the Security Council of the Belgorod Region, Oleg Mantulin, and Chief of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Belgorod Region, Major General of Internal Service Sergey Potapov summed up the results of the work of the Belgorod Territorial Subsystem of the Unified State System for Preventing and Eliminating Emergency Situations. They noted the high level of training of emergency crews of power engineers and good interaction of control groups of the branch during the All-Russian training in civil defense on 4-6 October 2017.
Belgorodenergo has developed in full regulatory and organizational and administrative documents in the field of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations, the training and methodological base for personnel training is being improved, and a clear interaction has been established between all levels of the subsystem. Employees are 100% provided with joint and individual means of protection, overalls and specialized vehicles.
The medal "For Cooperation for the Sake of Rescue" was established on 18 July 2005. It is awarded to servicemen of the civil defense forces, servicemen and employees of the State Fire Service, employees of the EMERCOM, other citizens of the Russian Federation and foreign citizens for their services in strengthening the cooperation for the sake of rescue.
