In the Tver branch of IDGC of Centre there were competitions of professional skills of crews of metering and optimization of losses. The best results were shown by the team of Kalininsky Distribution Zone. The winners of the regional stage will have to defend Tverenergo’s honour at the professional skills competition of IDGC of Centre, which will gather participants from all branches of the company.
In total for the right to be called the best, crews of electricity metering departments from seven Distribution Zones of Tverenergo competed - Nelidovsky, Vyshnevolotsky, Kimrsky, Bezhetsky, Rzhevsky, Torzhoksky and Kalininsky. All of them are winners of district competitions. For three days the teams passed five stages, reflecting the main scope of the daily work of the departments for electricity metering and optimization of losses. The contestants demonstrated to the jury their knowledge of the normative and technical documentation, the rules of rendering first aid to the victim with electric shock, conducted an instrumental check of a three-phase electricity meter, replaced a single-phase meter and extinguished the fire on equipment of power facilities under voltage of up to 0.4 kV.
According to the results of the competition, the team of Kalininsky Distribution Zone was ahead with a wide margin, gaining 529 points. The second step of the pedestal was taken by the team of Bezhetsky Distribution Zone, which scored 486 points. The crew of Kimrsky Distribution Zone closed the three leaders with the result of 449 points. All participants of the competitions received memorable certificates and cups, and the winners - a bonus to their salary. Members of the best crew will receive it throughout the year.
"2017 is held under the slogan of combating losses. It’s no secret that this is especially true for Tverenergo. We have an extremely difficult, critical situation related to the loss of electricity," said Vadim Yurchenko, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division director. "I thank the participants of the competition for their dedication and serious approach, because the financial good standing of the company and the stable operation of the power grid complex of the Tver region directly depend on the competent qualified electricity metering."
