IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division summed up the results of the implementation of the Environmental Policy Program for 9 months of 2017. The planned indicators of the document were fulfilled on time and in full, for this purpose the enterprise spent more than 1.6 million rubles.
A large amount of work was done by power engineers in the part of reducing the harmful impact on the environment of production and consumption wastes, protection of atmospheric air and water resources. 15 units of equipment with a total weight of 0.9 tons, containing polychlorinated biphenyls, were decommissioned and disposed of. Accumulated waste in the amount of about 379 thousand rubles was transferred to specialized organizations for disposal and placement.
Instrumental control of emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere was regularly carried out to ensure compliance of their volumes with the established standards, as well as tests of water quality indicators.
Also during this period, the energy company replaced more than 108 km of uninsulated wire on 0.4-6-10 kV lines with protected self-supporting insulated wire, which increases reliability, reduces the cut-off area of ROWs and completely eliminates bird deaths on the overhead line. Also, 250 bird protection devices were installed to protect birds from effects of electricity on 6-10 kV overhead lines.
Implementing the activities envisaged by the Environmental Policy Program, Tambovenergo contributes to the improvement of the environmental situation in the Tambov region.
