14.11.2017

Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division conducted a tour in the substation "Rzhev" for students of the Staritsa branch of Tver Technological College.

The power engineers showed the students an important feeding centre that provides electricity for most of the city of Rzhev, as well as many socially important facilities. The future electricians for repair and maintenance of electrical equipment got acquainted with modern technologies of power system management, the principle of the substation operation and could observe the work of operators. The students of the college actively asked the power engineers questions, and after the end of the tour they talked with the operators for a long time.

"Such meetings are extremely useful, because in order to become a professional in any industry, the knowledge of the theory is not enough. We need to understand how to apply the knowledge gained in practice," said Mikhail Rosinsky, the chief of Rzhevsky Distribution Zone. At the end of the event the students thanked the employees of Rzhevsky Distribution Zone for organizing and conducting such an exciting tour. "Who knows, maybe one of the graduates in the near future will come to work for this largest electric grid company in the region. We will be only happy," stressed Galina Nazarova, Director of the branch of State Budget Professional Educational Institution "Tver Technological College".

The Tver branch of IDGC of the Centre pays much attention to the training of qualified personnel for the subsequent work at the enterprise. In addition to tours and open doors days, which are regularly held at the enterprise, the company annually invites students of relevant specialties to work practice. This was made possible by agreements between Tverenergo and educational institutions: Tver State Technical University, Tver State Agricultural Academy, Ivanovo State Power Engineering University, Konakovo Energy College, Nelidovo and Udomlya Colleges, Bezhetsk Industrial and Economic College, and Tver Polytechnic College, Torzhok College of Federal State Reserve Agency and other educational institutions. In addition, a working group was created in Tverenergo to form a youth reserve pool.
