Safety Day took place in production subdivisions of Kurskenergo

The next safety day took place at IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division.

Heads of specialized services of the executive office of Kurskenergo and specialists of the technical unit summed up the results of measures to eliminate the shortcomings revealed during the previous safety day, checked the quality of the targeted instruction in issuing the work order, staffing with protective clothing, protective equipment, and necessary materials for safe operation. Also, the knowledge by the operating personnel of the equipment operation features during the period of the autumn-winter season was checked by the production personnel. An additional briefing was made with drivers on the conditions of operation of vehicles, technical serviceability and completeness of cars was checked.

In the course of the practical part, the operational dispatch personnel worked out schemes for connecting backup power supplies to socially important facilities. In addition, within the framework of the Safety Day, the employees of the branch were trained in the methods of releasing the victim from electric shock and providing first aid in case of accidents.

As a result of the Safety Day, a list of measures to eliminate the identified violations was developed. Verification of their implementation will be carried out in preparation for the next Safety Day, which will be held next month.

Safety days are held in all branches of IDGC of Centre every month to prevent occupational injuries and increase the production culture at power facilities.
