Tambovenergo’s employees visited ancient cities of Russia

Employees of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division and their family members made a two-day trip around the Nizhny Novgorod region. The weekend tour was organized by the trade union committee of the company.

The power engineers made a sightseeing tour of Nizhny Novgorod, where they visited the architectural ensemble of the Kremlin, the Spassky Old Cathedral, Stroganov Church and the People’s Unity Square, saw the unique ensemble of the XVII century in Krutoy pereulok in Zapochayanie, observation sites and places connected with the writer Maxim Gorky’s name (from 1932 to 1990 the city bore his name). They also could see the estate of the Rukavishnikovs merchants - an object of cultural heritage, an interesting monument of civil architecture of the last quarter of the nineteenth century.

In Arzamas, Tambovenergo’s employees visited the Cathedral Square and the Nikolsky Convent. The trip included the visit of the Holy Trinity Seraphim-Diveevo Monastery, in which the relics of St. Seraphim of Sarov are preserved. The guests from Tambov got acquainted with the architecture of the Trinity and Transfiguration Cathedrals, the Kazan Church, and walked along the Holy Canal.

According to the power engineers, the visit to the ancient cities of Russia left an unforgettable impression on them.

"The management of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division pays great attention to the health improvement and recreation of its employees, their children, leisure," comments Igor Filatyev, the chairman of the trade union committee of the Tambovenergo branch. "A full rest rallies the team and further promotes quality and fruitful work."
