Employees of Tverenergo held a clean-up event in the territory of children’s TB sanatorium #2

Employees of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division conducted a clean-up event on the territory of State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Tambov region "Children’s TB Sanatorium #2". The power engineers removed dry leaves from the territory of the institution, swept paths around the building, sawed trees off, collected and took out garbage.

Tverenergo’s employees have been providing personal assistance to the anti-tuberculosis sanatorium for several years already. The beginning was laid six years ago, when the Alley of Power Engineers appeared on the territory of the treatment and prophylactic establishment. The company’s employees planted dozens of pines there. By now, the trees have grown and gradually create around the sanatorium their unique favourable microclimate, providing small patients with clean curative air.

All year round, children with bronchopulmonary diseases aged from two to seven are treated in the sanatorium. Most of them are left without parental care. "It is gratifying that among our employees there are a lot of kind and sympathetic people who are ready to sacrifice their time and help children who have fallen into an uneasy life situation," stressed Vadim Yurchenko, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division director.
