IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo division summed up the results of the implementation of the Environmental Policy Program for 9 months of 2017. The planned indicators of the document were fulfilled on time and in full, for this purpose the enterprise spent about 2.5 million rubles.
A large amount of work was done by power engineers in the part of reducing the harmful impact on the environment of production and consumption wastes, protection of atmospheric air and water resources. They regularly conducted instrumental monitoring of emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere to ensure compliance with their volumes of established standards. As part of the measures to protect and rational use of water resources, Bryanskenergo’s employees organized maintenance of a post-treatment water treatment system for the artesian well of Pochepsky Distribution Zone, control tests of water quality indicators were carried out, modern containers for temporary storage of mercury-containing lamps were purchased. The accumulated waste for the amount of 344 thousand rubles was transferred to specialized organizations for neutralization and placement.
The specialists of the branch also replaced 48 km of uninsulated wire on 0.4-6-10 kV lines with protected self-supporting insulated wire, which makes it possible to increase reliability, reduce the clearing area, and completely eliminate death of birds on overhead lines. 881 bird scaring devices also installed for protection of birds from the impact of electricity on 35-110 kV overhead lines.
In carrying out the activities envisaged by the Environmental Policy Program, Bryanskenergo contributes to the improvement of the environmental situation in the Bryansk region.
