Tambovenergo’s employees conduct electrical safety classes in educational institutions of the region

Employees of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division continue to conduct electrical safety lessons for children and adolescents in the general educational institutions of the Tambov region. In October, a series of such classes took place in schools of Zherdevsky, Tambovsky, Kirsanovsky districts. About 500 children participated in them.

The power engineers told schoolchildren about the basic rules of electrical safety, the importance of warning signs installed on electrical equipment, demonstrated methods of providing first aid to the victim with electric shock. To consolidate this knowledge, the children were helped by thematic videos, as well as contests and quizzes. At the end of the lessons, all participants were given specialized brochures and posters.

The lessons of electrical safety are one of the most important activities of the program to reduce risks of injuries to third parties at power facilities of IDGC of Centre. Until the end of the year, Tambovenergo’s employees will hold thematic classes in most schools of the Tambov region.
