Specialists of Tambovenergo held a professional guidance meeting with students of TSTU

Employees of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division met with the first-year students of the Department of Power Engineering of the Institute of Power Engineering, Instrument Making and Radioelectronics of TSTU. The power engineers told their future colleagues about the high social importance of the profession in modern society.

The report was made by Gennady Kosenkov, Deputy Chief Engineer for Production Assets Management and Development of Tambovenergo. He told the students about the branch and about the role of representatives of the energy profession in the development of the enterprise. The participants of the meeting learned about the latest technologies and mobile solutions used by specialists of the branch during inspections of electrical equipment, testing and measuring work, innovative equipment and energy-saving technologies that Tambovenergo widely implements at its facilities.

Tambovenergo and TSTU are linked by long-term fruitful cooperation in the field of staff training. Employees of the branch regularly hold vocational guidance meetings, round tables and open doors days for students. In addition, over the past few years, the university and the enterprise actively cooperated in the framework of the project to organize the work of students’ construction crews of the power grid complex.
