Kurskenergo’s specialists continue to conduct electrical safety lessons for pupils of kindergartens

Power engineers of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo held the next electrical safety lesson in the Municipal Budgetary Pre-school Educational Institution "Kindergarten of combined type No. 81" in Kursk. The event, which was attended by more than 50 children, was part of Kurskenergo’s program to reduce risks of injuries to third parties at facilities of the branch for 2017.

Kurskenergo’s specialists told children about the role of electricity in human life, about what it could be dangerous with if they violated the rules for handling it, and also recalled the rules of electrical safety in everyday life. The preschool children learned why it is dangerous to play near electrical installations, approaching broken wires, and launching a kite next to a power line.

The power engineers also introduced the children to the prohibitory signs, which are placed on substations and power line poles, demonstrated the means of protection and equipment of the electrician. And at the end of the lesson the children watched an animated film about electrical safety.

By the end of the year, Kurskenergo’s specialists plan to conduct another 100 electrical safety lessons for schoolchildren and pupils of kindergartens in Kursk and the Kursk region.
