According to the information of the EMERCOM of Russia, in the near future on the territory of the Tambov region wind is expected to grow to 20 m/s, with rain. Due to worsening of weather conditions, IDGC of Centre – Tambovenergo division has introduced a high availability mode.
A special control over the operation of power facilities has been established. An information exchange has been organized with the territorial subdivision of the EMERCOM and executive authorities. First responding and repair personnel have been mobilized.
On duty there are 28 first responding and restoration crews in the number of 56 people and 28 specialized vehicles. In case of major technological violations, it is possible to increase the number of personnel to 82 crews (445 people) and 183 vehicles, and contracting organizations may also be involved in restoration work. Reserve power supply to socially important consumers of the Tambov region, if necessary, can be provided by generator sets with a total capacity of 580 kW.
At the moment, the energy system of the Tambov region is operating stably, technological failures in the operation of power grid equipment during the unfavourable weather conditions have not been recorded.
