Personnel training is a priority of the Kostroma branch of IDGC of Centre

IDGC of Centre – Kostromaenergo division summed up the results of the training of personnel for 9 months of 2017. During the reporting period, 718 employees of the enterprise were trained. Over 4 087.6 thousand rubles were allocated for these purposes.

296 employees improved their skills in electrical installations and distribution grids. 32 employees acquired new knowledge in the field of labour protection and fire safety at energy enterprises, 24 people improved their qualifications in the field of safe operation and diagnosis of electrical equipment, norms and rules for work in electrical installations, 14 employees were trained in working with heat installations.

The opportunity to upgrade the qualification in the period from January to September was received by 57 employees of the service sale unit. 1 specialist of the mechanization and transport service was trained in preparation for operation through the autumn-winter period. 262 employees were trained in working specialties, 84 employees were trained in defensive driving.

To ensure high-quality professional training of employees, the company actively cooperates with the Kostroma Power Engineering College named after. F.V. Chizhov (KPEC), where for 9 months 436 employees underwent professional retraining on the basis of the "Multifunctional Centre of Applied Qualifications", including the following course: the Distribution Zone operator, the Distribution Zone master, the diagnostician, the electrician of a mobile crew, maintenance of the substation, repair and installation of cable lines, tests and measurements, operation of distribution grids, electricity meters, the timber feller, the slinger, etc. In addition, the professional development of Kostromaenergo’s employees is held at the Ivanovo Energy University, the Kostroma State Agricultural Academy (KSAA). The correspondence form of obtaining knowledge is also in demand. So, at the moment 21 power engineers as sent by the branch are studying in absentia in the KPEC and 17 in the KSAA.

The system of personnel training in Kostromaenergo is aimed at maintaining high professional level of employees, creating conditions for their career and personal growth. According to the plan, by the end of the year more than 250 employees of Kostromaenergo will be able to receive training.
