Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division director Vadim Yurchenko took part in a conference call under the leadership of Governor of the Tver region Igor Rudenya. The event was devoted to the preparation for the heating season. Members of the regional government, heads of municipalities, representatives of the fuel and energy complex of the region and resource-supplying organizations also took part in the discussion of the current topic.
IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division has been preparing for the autumn-winter period of 2017-2018 for a long time. To date, most of the preparatory activities have been completed. Within the framework of the preparation of the power grid complex for the period of the maximum of low temperatures, the priority direction of activity is the execution of the repair program. In Tverenergo for all electrical equipment groups it goes in strict accordance with the planned schedule and with overfulfillment by individual items. Thus, from the planned 846.3 km of overhead lines of 0.4-20 kV by mid-September 720.1 km have been repaired, and 425.7 km were repaired from 604.9 km overhead lines of 35-10 kV. Of 442 transformer substations of 0.4-20kV, being under the repair program, the work has been completed at 480. In addition, 21 substations of 35-110 kV out of 27 planned for this year have been overhauled.
Much attention is paid to clearing and expanding ROWs of power lines. At the moment, more than 1.9 thousand hectares have been cleared of tree and shrub vegetation.
The emergency reserve of the Tver branch of IDGC of Centre is 100% restocked. Tverenergo has prepared reserve sources of electricity in the amount of 18 pieces with a capacity of 30 kW and above. The reserve sources are distributed by their permanent bases and persons responsible for their safety, maintenance and operation in the field have been identified.
In addition, 13 mobile units equipped with specialized, off-road vehicles and dry rations have been formed at the branch in order to ensure the timely elimination of large-scale outages of power grid facilities, to shorten the time for preparing mobile units for their intended use.
The service of mechanization and transport of the branch is preparing motor vehicles, hoisting and transport machines and mechanisms for carrying out emergency recovery work in extreme winter conditions. 394 drivers in the current year have been trained under a defensive driving program.
As part of the preparation of the branch for the autumn-winter period, in September, command-and-staff exercises were conducted to develop cooperation with the General Directorate of the EMERCOM of Russia for the Tver region, a branch of PJSC "SO UES" "Tver Regional Dispatch Office", a branch of PJSC "FGC UES" - "Valdai PMES", the Regional Headquarters to ensure the security of power supply in the Tver region and the Administration of Kalininsky district during the liquidation of emergency situations in the power grid complex with massive de-energization of consumers.
