21 September 2017, IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division held a meeting of the interdepartmental commission to assess the enterprise’s readiness for the autumn-winter period. As a result, the chairman of the commission - the head of the labour protection service of IDGC of Centre Alexander Roschupkin presented the certificate of readiness to the director of the branch Vladimir Syschikov. The certificate of readiness for work in the autumn-winter period of 2017-2018 is a document confirming the availability of Tambov power engineers to work during the autumn-winter maximum of loads.
The commission, which included representatives of IDGC of Centre, a branch of Rosseti - Technical Inspection Centre, the Tambov region administration, a branch of SO UES Lipetsk Regional Dispatch Office, regional branches of Rostekhnadzor and EMERCOM of Russia, evaluated the results of Tambovenergo’s measures to increase the reliability of electric grids and power equipment in the period of low temperatures. The members of the commission unanimously decided on the readiness of the Tambovenergo branch to pass the winter.
The receipt of the certificate of readiness was preceded by serious preparation of the power grid facilities of the branch - the implementation of repair and investment programs, as well as additional measures to improve the reliability of the equipment.
In Tambovenergo complex overhaul of three 35 kV substations was completed, the repair of the 110 kV substation will be completed before the end of September, 554 kilometres of 0.4-110 kV overhead lines and 114 transformer substations of 6-10/0.4 kV were overhauled. ROWs of all voltage classes were cleared in the amount of 389 hectares, which corresponds to the planned figure for the specified period.
The employees of the branch were instructed on the peculiarities of work in emergency situations at low temperatures. Specialized trainings of operating personnel for practicing actions at entering schedules of emergency restriction of a mode of consumption of electric energy in conditions of sharp lowering of temperature of ambient air were organized.
At the moment, the emergency reserve of Tambovenergo is 100% complete. Means of communication, dispatching technological control systems, systems of redundant power supply of the executive office are in good order and are ready for operation under the conditions of maximum loads. The availability for use of 17 reserve power supply sources with a total capacity of 0.58 MW was checked.
The branch has 10 mobile crews consisting of 60 people, which are equipped with new specialized vehicles (10 crew cars and 10 aerials), are provided with electric protective equipment and personal protective equipment, tools, communication equipment, petrol generators and are ready to eliminate emergency situations, including in conditions of low temperatures. Also, if necessary, 83 crews consisting of 447 people, 184 off-road and specialized vehicles can be simultaneously used to carry out emergency repairs in Tambovenergo.
"Obtaining the Certificate of readiness for work in the autumn-winter period of 2017-2018 is a natural assessment of the results of our specialists’ work. The branch coped with the task set and prepared the power grid complex of the Tambov region for reliable operation in the winter period," stressed Vladimir Syschikov, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division director.
