IDGC of Centre – Kurskenergo division summed up the preliminary results of readiness of subdivisions for the autumn-winter operation period. For eight months of this year, specialists of Kurskenergo fulfilled the basic measures for the repair of electrical equipment, provided for by the 2017 repair program.
In the service area of the branch, 2,245.1 km of overhead lines of 0.4-110 kV were repaired. Significant volume of repair work was performed on the 110 kV lines "Oboyan-Paniki", "Sadovaya-Lesnaya", "Kurskaya-Medvenka", and also on the 35 kV overhead lines "Fatezh-Sergievka", "Lyubostan-Lyubimovka", "Alekseevka-N. Terebuzh".
Comprehensive overhaul was completed in 18 substations of 35-110 kV, among which are "Gorodskaya", "Irrigation", "Kultprosvet", "Belitsa", "Kastornoye", "Neftyanaya", "Peny", "Telmana", 294 transformer substations and distribution points.
In addition, in accordance with the plan for comprehensive repair of 35-110 kV substations, repairs were made to 156 switches of 6 (10) - 110 kV, 8 disconnectors, 35-110 kV short-circuiting switches, 207 disconnectors of 35-110 kV, 28 rod-support insulators of 110 kV were replaced. At the repaired grid of 0.4-110 kV 2,881 poles, 16,366 insulators, 14.6 km of lightning protection wire, 245.4 km of wire were replaced.
Specialists of the branch cleared more than 750.1 hectares of ROWs of power lines from tree and shrubby vegetation to avoid technological disturbances caused by falling trees and branches on wires of overhead lines.
Implementation of the repair program of Kurskenergo for 8 months of 2017 amounted to 79.7% of the annual plan, the remaining activities will be performed in accordance with the schedules.
The level of readiness of Kurskenergo to peak loads and the quality of the work performed will be evaluated by a commission of representatives of IDGC of Centre, Kursk Regional Administration, Kursk Department of Rostekhnadzor, Office of EMERCOM of the Kursk region and the branch of SO UES "Regional Dispatch Office of the Kursk, Orel and Belgorod Regions" after which the branch will receive a certificate of readiness - the main document confirming the availability of the power grid complex of Kurskenergo to operate in conditions of low temperatures.
