36 million rubles allocated for the reconstruction of the substation "Gotnya"

19.09.2017

A branch of IDGC of Centre has started reconstruction of the 110/10 kV "Gotnya" substation in Rakityansky district of the Belgorod region. 36 million rubles of investment funds were allocated for the project implementation.

At the outdoor switchgear of the feeding centre obsolete 110 kV oil circuit breakers will be replaced by power engineers for modern SF6 ones, they will modernize the automation of each switch control, and install modern terminal cabinets.

In the new switches the insulating and extinguishing medium is SF6 gas, so they practically do not require maintenance and repair, do not need regular testing, contact measurements, oil change and other labour. Additional advantages are high reliability and durability. Relay protection and automation systems quickly record and locate faulty parts of the grid, thereby preventing development of emergency situations. All equipment will be connected to existing communication channels, through which telemetric information is received by the Grid Control Centre of the Belgorodenergo branch.

The 110/10 kV "Gotnya" substation was commissioned in 1975 to power a large meat-packing plant. At present, seven settlements, more than 12 thousand residents and such large enterprises as a feed mill of LLC "Belgrankorm", the Kryukovsky pig-breeding facility, the "Gotnya" power supply area of the Belgorod electricity supply line of Russian Railways and others are currently fed from it.
