IDGC of Centre – Belgorodenergo division provided power supply for outdoor lighting and road infrastructure facilities on nine motorways of the region with a total connected capacity of over 140 kW.
The network of outdoor lighting is connected to the centralized electricity supply at the sections of the "Lukyanovka-Tim" road network in the area of the small village of Michailovsky, on the "Belgorod-Pavlovsk" road near the villages of Garbuzovo, Osadcheye, Varvarovka, Alekseevsky district on the border with the Voronezh region and other roads in the region. A total of 246 new luminaires and several cabinets for an automated control system for outdoor lighting were made operating.
On the northern and eastern entrances to the Belgorod region, on the M-2 "Crimea" highways in Ivniansky district and "Belgorod-Pavlovsk" in Alekseevsky district, power supply of posts of automatic weight-measuring control of freight vehicles was carried out. Similar activities were implemented in the village of Lomovo in Korochansky district. The power engineers provided the opportunity to connect the facilities to the grid, having allocated 0.4 kV connection points.
In the fourth quarter of this year as part of the national program of development of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, approved by Order of PJSC "Rosseti" from 17.07.2013 №412, on the part of the road "Belgorod-Pavlovsk" between the regional centre and Korocha there will be two modern, package transformer substations of 10/0.4 kV, equipped with an intelligent monitoring system for loading transformers and charging stations for electric vehicles. The design of such package transformer substations will allow charging electric vehicles and simultaneously provide reliable and high-quality power supply to consumers. The package transformer substations are research and development work of IDGC of Centre. Such a charging infrastructure, integrated into the existing infrastructure of electrical networks, is deployed in several regions of the country, including in the Belgorod region.
