Lipetskenergo’s fleet added new specialized vehicles

05.09.2017

As part of the investment program in 2017 IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division purchased transport and specialized vehicles. The power engineers received the crane "Ivanovets" with a carrying capacity of 25 tons, a backhoe loader and 10 crew cars.

The new vehicles have high performance characteristics and increased cross-country ability. This will reduce the delivery time of staff of Distribution Zones to work sites, regardless of the complexity of the route and terrain, and as a result, improve the efficiency of eliminating technological violations, and hence the quality of work of power engineers.

A particularly valuable acquisition in Lipetskenergo is considered a pole-hole digger based on the KAMAZ vehicle. This vehicle will allow specialists of the branch to work on installation of poles on 35-110 kV lines on their own, without involvement of contractors, as it was before.

Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division director Alexander Glebov noted that now the fleet of the company has more than 560 units of equipment and its upgrade in 2017 will undoubtedly contribute to improving the efficiency of the work process. "I am confident that the new vehicles will benefit not only us, power engineers, but also residents of the Lipetsk region, for which we work."

Chiefs of Distribution Zones thanked the management of the branch for the attention to their needs and assured that the performance of work will undoubtedly increase with the renovation of the fleet.
