Tverenergo took part in the "Tver Marathon"

On 3 September, the 33rd "Tver Marathon" took place in the regional capital. About 1,500 adherents of a healthy lifestyle from 7 countries, 27 regions of Russia and 100 cities ran through the streets of Tver. Power engineers of the Tver branch of IDGC of Centre participated in the marathon for the first time. The team "Tverenergo" took part in the distance "Corporate Relay". Also, the athletes-power engineers ran a personal competition at a distance of 10 km.

10 people took part in the corporate race. The stage was held in the format of the relay race. Each athlete ran for 1 km in the historical part of Tver. Another 16 teams from different organizations of the city took part in the competition. The team of the Tver branch of IDGC of Centre took the 6th place.

"The Tver marathon is a real sport holiday in our city. The Tverenergo team took part in it for the first time. I myself participated in the 10 km race and showed a good result for myself. Running is a sport of possibilities, it is accessible to everyone. At such events, you compete not with people around, but you try to be the best version of yourself," said Maria Shavrina, the head of the social relations department.

"I've been running for a little less than a year and a half and have already participated in official competitions more than once. I like the atmosphere at such events, it is always pleasant to achieve the best results," shared Alexey Smorodin, the head of the energy saving and energy efficiency office.

Next year, the Tver power engineers again plan to take part in the marathon and set new records.
