The economic effect of the implementation of organizational and technical measures of the energy saving and energy efficiency program in IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division for seven months of this year exceeded 2.8 million kWh of electricity. Over 170 km of wire of a larger cross-section were installed on overloaded power lines, underloaded and outdated transformers were replaced by energy-efficient analogues that were optimal in terms of capacity. In five thousand residential houses inputs were replaced using self-supporting insulated wire.
The maximum amount of electricity - over 1.2 million kWh - was saved by replacing the wire during the reconstruction and technical re-equipment of power grid facilities. More than 1.0 million kWh - thanks to the installation of 86 power transformers of 6(10)/0.4 kV (total capacity of 18 MVA) with reduced power consumption at facilities of the branch.
The main organizational measures for energy efficiency include the disconnection of transformers with seasonal and low load in substations with two or more power units and equalization of phase loads in distribution networks of 0.38 kV. Installation of control devices at problem consumers helps save, which do not allow to distort the amount of electricity used. For example, in Valuisky district this work produced an effect of 172 thousand kWh.
The expected effect from the implementation of all planned activities of the program and the implementation of energy-saving technologies in production activities, according to experts, in 2017 will be 7.03 million kWh.
