From July 3 to 15 August, 23 students of the Lipetsk State Technical University and the Zadonsk Polytechnic College worked at facilities of the branch. Before starting to work, the young people received safety briefings, learned the rules of labour protection and, being fully staffed with necessary materials, tools and overalls, received permits to work with power equipment.

The members of students’ construction crews under the guidance of experienced masters in crews of Lipetskenergo’s specialists took readings of electricity meters, participated in scheduled technical maintenance of transformer substations and overhead lines. The students coped well with all these and other tasks.

Labour everyday life of the energy crews was mixed with cultural and mass activities, in which the young people could manifest themselves both from the creative and the sports side. This is a one kilometer run under the program "Together we are the first" timed to coincide with the day of the city of Lipetsk, where a member of the energy grew took the third place. An excursion in the museum of the Lipetsk Air Centre named after V.P. "The tour to NV NPP is a unique opportunity to get to know the nuclear power industry. We usually get the bulk of theoretical information in this field in higher education institutions, but personally attend an enterprise of this importance, and personally observe the work of power engineers at nuclear power plants - this is a completely different level! Impressions of the trip were the most positive!" commented a participant of the students’ energy crew "12 kW of the youth" Alexander Nezhumira.

Ahead of the young people there is serious preparation for creative competitions for the best students’ energy crew, participation in which is taken by students from all over Russia. 1 September 2017, the students will take part in the festival of energy saving "Together brighter".
